The two major-party candidates for Salt Lake County mayor will answer questions and lay out their vision for Utah’s future during a pre-election town hall.
Incumbent Mayor Ben McAdams and challenger Dave Robinson will join Hinckley Institute of Politics director Jason Perry to talk education, health care, air quality, and other issues during the Candidate Conversations event, part of the INFORMED DECISIONS 2016 public information campaign spearheaded by the Hinckley Institute of Politics and the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute at the University of Utah.
Members of the public will be able to submit questions at the forum and on Twitter by using the hashtag #ID2016 (Informed Decisions 2016).
“The Candidate Conversations are aimed at preparing voters for Election 2016. We’re thrilled to have both Mayor McAdams and Mr. Robinson participate,” Perry said. “We look forward to giving voters what they need for the Nov. 8 election.”
