Utah GOP Chairman James Evans tells UtahPolicy.com that the state party has been inundated with more than 7,000 requests for tickets to Donald Trump’s inauguration later this month.
The party announced Tuesday that they had a limited number of tickets available for the inaugural.
Evans says most of the tickets requests granted will likely be given to those who make a donation to the state party. There may be some free tickets available, but Evans is not sure how many.
Evans says he doesn’t have any historical information to compare the Trump ticket crush with, but he says the number of requests so far are highly satisfying.
