About our Scott Beck
Scott Beck is currently President and CEO of Visit Salt Lake. Visit Salt Lake’s mission statement is to enhance the area’s economy by acquiring and servicing conventions, leisure travelers and visitors to Salt Lake County. Prior to joining Visit Salt Lake, Scott was the General Manager of the Salt Lake City Marriott City Center hotel and worked with the Salt Lake Olympic Organizing Committee during the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympic games. Scott is a member of the Salt Lake Chamber Board of Governors, the Board of the Downtown Alliance, the Executive Committee of DMAI and serves on the Foundation Board of the Green Meetings Industry Council.
